We Cover the Technologies
That Are Shaping Tomorrow

RKT Technologies is an independent media brand dedicated to helping professionals, engineers, and curious minds navigate the rapidly evolving world of computing, semiconductors, and emerging tech. We test, analyze, and curate the innovations that matter — and we are always transparent about how we make money doing it.

Honest Coverage in an Era of Technology Hype

The technology landscape is advancing faster than most people can track. Breakthroughs in quantum computing, next-generation processors, and materials science are announced weekly — each promising to reshape entire industries. Some of these advances deliver on that promise. Many don't survive contact with real-world engineering constraints. Our job is to help you tell the difference.

RKT Technologies was founded in 2019 by a team of technology journalists, semiconductor engineers, and research scientists who were frustrated with coverage that prioritized headlines over accuracy. We set out to build something different: a publication where engineering reality comes first, where we speak to actual researchers and practitioners, and where we are clear about uncertainty when it exists.

We cover processors, memory architectures, quantum hardware, photonics, space technology, materials science, and the software ecosystems that connect them — with a focus on what actually works and what the timelines for broader adoption realistically look like.

Editorial Independence

Our editorial assessments are separate from our commercial relationships. Sponsored content is always clearly labeled as "Advertorial" or "Sponsored."

Research-Backed Reporting

We consult primary sources: peer-reviewed papers, patent filings, and on-the-record interviews with engineers and researchers at leading institutions.

Accessible Language

We write for smart generalists, not just specialists. Complex concepts deserve clear explanations. We never use jargon as a substitute for understanding.

Transparent Monetization

We earn money through sponsorships and affiliate commissions. We disclose every commercial relationship on every page where it is relevant.

The People Behind the Publication

A distributed team of journalists, engineers, and research analysts — connected across five time zones by a shared obsession with technology that actually delivers.

Alex Reiter

Editor-in-Chief & Co-founder

Former senior editor at two leading technology publications. Alex spent eight years covering semiconductor policy and advanced computing before co-founding RKT Technologies to provide deeper, more technically grounded coverage of the hardware trends reshaping global industry.

SemiconductorsPolicyStrategy

Priya Nair

Senior Writer, Quantum & Advanced Computing

PhD in condensed matter physics, former postdoctoral researcher at a national laboratory. Priya transitioned from lab bench to journalism to translate the nuances of quantum hardware research for a wider audience. Her explainers on qubit coherence times are among our most-shared pieces.

Quantum ComputingPhysicsResearch

Marcus Webb

Staff Writer, Processor Architecture

Former CPU design engineer at a major chip manufacturer. Marcus spent a decade in microarchitecture before moving to journalism. His coverage of x86, ARM, and RISC-V developments is grounded in the kind of first-principles engineering understanding that most technology media lacks.

Erin Tsukamoto

Research & Data Editor

Technology analyst with a background in market research and science communication. Erin manages our data sources, validates technical claims across our coverage, and ensures that the statistics and projections we publish are properly contextualized and honestly sourced.

Our Business Model, Explained Plainly

We operate a media business, which means we have costs: writers, editors, researchers, software, hosting, and time. We cover those costs through two primary channels.

Sponsored content and advertorials. Companies in the technology sector pay us to produce articles that feature their products and platforms. These articles are always labeled clearly at the top of the page with the word “Advertorial” or “Sponsored.” We maintain editorial standards for sponsored content: factual accuracy, balanced framing, and clear disclosure.

Affiliate commissions. When we recommend a product or service and you sign up or purchase through our link, we may earn a commission from the provider. This is disclosed in the relevant articles. It does not affect which products we recommend in our independent editorial coverage.

We believe readers are better served by a publication that is honest about its commercial relationships than one that conceals them.

What We Publish and What We Won’t

We publish: Technology deep-dives, hardware analysis, market context, accessible explainers, and clearly-labeled sponsored content from companies whose products we believe offer genuine value.
We disclose: Every affiliate relationship, every sponsored article, every commercial connection — on the page where it is relevant, in language that is easy to find and understand.
We don’t publish: Undisclosed sponsored content, misleading product claims, fabricated benchmarks, or advertorials for products we know to be deceptive, harmful, or misrepresented.
We don’t guarantee: That sponsored content is unbiased. Readers should apply appropriate critical thinking to all advertorial content, including ours. Stated performance claims may not apply in all contexts.
